You don’t know what is going on. If you did, you would know that TPA requires that TPP or any trade agreement be made public for 60 days before it is voted on. What’s wrong with that? Without TPA, we don’t have that transparency.
What’s wrong is that it makes a simple majority of the DC crowd all it takes to pass any trade bill. We can safely assume that a majority of the DC crowd can easily be bought off by the highest bidder.
That 60 days comes after all other meaningful chances to change the agreement, save for “mock markups” or a longshot attempt to have the vote fail.
Nothing says that they can’t bring out the draft agreements out in the open without TPA.
What part of, without TPA we don’t get TPP shoved down our throats, do you not understand?
