The bright colors of those graphics are what I see in my mind when I think of the ‘80s. What a fun time. I feel sorry for anyone who missed out, LOL.
My kid hates me for it. ;)
She listens to this stuff more than modern music because it simply sounds better to her. We got the nostalgia but she just loves it because it’s good. I send her links all the time and get ‘You suck” in return emails.
I taunt her how great things were then. Even the bad stuff (non musically) then was better than some of the good stuff now. Which truly is pathetic.
Norm...’tis the season for FR’s house liberals and concern trolls to crawl out from under their rocks to annoy us this primary season. Some get zotted, some get away to pester you another day (like the no see-ums, gnats, and black flies here in Red England that showed up in droves the minute the snow finally melted. You can swat and spritz ‘em with eucalyptus oil all day long, but you’ll never get them all).

Well, it's true. I've heard some stunningly bad new music.
I know you've seen all the comments after '80s Youtube videos from kids who say, wow, this stuff is better than music today. It's kind of undeniable.
The 80s retro thing has been solidly going on for a decade from what I read. I got into it about 5 years ago but it is really starting to explode as these guys get more experience. Most of them are far from ‘pros’ with only a couple years and no formal musical backgrounds. But they sound pro to me.
I do my best, although there appears to be a bumper crop this year. Red Hampshire is supposed to be overrun with ticks this year, as well. Poli (many) tic (blood-sucking parasite)...unfortunately, that particular breed can even survive long brutal Red Hampshire winters, so they’ll be here thru March of 2016.
