As far as attacking The Thing from different angles (and she’s big enough), it is good. But sooner than later it has to be whittled down. And by that I mean Cruz :)

A diverse range of candidates will ONLY help us if a few of them are RINOS. We had one RINO in ‘08 and lost the general. We had one semi-RINO in 12 and lost the general.
The problem is that our vote gets split 20 ways but the RINO gets all his establishment base. However a RINO has a hard time winning a general election.
We need to get a couple more RINOs in the primary.

Huckabee went on to win the Iowa caucuses, and its entirely possible he could do so again. And this matters, not just because it means that Huckabee will have won, but also because it means he will have deprived someone else from winning...
That's the reason he is in this race; to try and deprive Ted Cruz, Scott Walker, Marco Rubio or anyone from getting the nomination besides Jeb Bush. The Huckster lost his credibility when he got a spot on FOX News and started hobnobbing with all the "big" political players. He watered down his conservatism and today he is definitely a "Moderate". The GOPe has propped him up to dilute the Conservative field in the GOP Primaries.
