The top of the party is totally committed to continuing to flood the country with foreigners. The voters do not want the invasion to continue.
Either there will be a civil war within the party or the party will cease to exist.

” is the desperate situations immigrants face in the countries they are leaving.”

Not my problem.

Quite possibly, he is correct.

Especially since we apparently have ceded control of the language of the debate to the left.

It is not “immigration”, but rather “illegal immigration” that is the issue. What disagreements we have with legal immigration often stem from the underlying mass influx of illegals.

We need to stop using the lying language of the left, IMO.

“Has anyone looked beyond our border?” he asked. “At some point you have to do that, but no one seems to be talking about it…no one is looking at the root causes.” As long as people continue to be oppressed and unable to support their families in these “corrupt, socialist countries,” noted Viguerie, America will continue to face an illegal immigration problem.

Not hardly. If we try to control the world by making every other place better, we will fail. If we control entry into our country, and use our shining beacon status to attract high quality immigrants, we will have more influence elsewhere. As it is, all we are doing is clawing our way down to the level of our surrounding neighbors, down to the lowest common denominator.

Why, it's almost as if some people want us to be global citizens!

If two room temperature IQ guys with an AR-15 and an old Chevy could keep Washington DC in terror for weeks, imagine what hundreds of thousands of sharp veterans and hunters could do....

I think about that frequently. The media and politicians are clueless.

“I’ve been able to find jobs for thousands of people and most of them were no Steven Hawking or Albert Einstein. If you really want work it’s out there.”

I was listening to a local radio station on the way home earlier this week and they were discussing the situation in Baltimore. The 2 hosts are leftists, but I would describe them more left of center than far left. While I totally disagree with their take on many US issues, I do get to hear some local news.

One of the hosts was talking about going down to New Orleans many times after Katrina to help build homes, etc. He said there was a lot of money pouring in to help re-build areas and the contractors were clamoring for help, paying fairly high wages and willing to train people (like an apprentice program).

He said he was working on one black woman’s home and painting the front and her grandson, who was about 15 and living with her, was out there. He asked the grandson if he wanted to help and could make some good money (Maybe said and learn a trade) and the grandson said no. Instead of earning money and helping restore his grandmother’s home that he lived in, he preferred to cross the street and sit and drink beer and play dominoes with his bros all day. And, it wasn’t just him - many of the other young black men did the same. So who did the contractors hire to help rebuild the city, learn a skill and earn a good wage - - you guessed it - illegal Mexicans and some of Asian descent (not sure if they were legal or illegal).
