Latinos likely haven't made up their minds about Republican Sen. Ted Cruz's newly announced candidacy for President.
So in a selfless gesture, a whole slew of non-Latinos have quickly stepped forward to spare us the trouble of thinking for ourselves about whether Cruz stands a chance of winning and whether he can get the votes of fellow Latinos.
The answers were "No" and "No."
Here's the conventional wisdom, courtesy of the liberal media and other critics of the junior senator from Texas: Cruz doesn't have the slimmest chance to win the Republican nomination, let alone to eventually become President.
Which must be why, after Cruz said this week that he is running for President in 2016, liberal commentators and left-wing activists spent the next few days trying to tear him down.
— "Cruz is entirely unsuited to be president," declared Danny Vinik of the New Republic. "Luckily for America, his candidacy is likely doomed to fizzle."
— The Washington Post editorial board said "the most notable characteristic of Mr. Cruz's brief time in elected politics has been his aversion to values that are essential to democracy's functioning: Practicality, modesty and compromise."(continued)

For me at least, the fact that Cruz is Hispanic was just the icing on the cake.
If I were a Negro, I would have supported him anyway, much to the chagrin of my hypothetical family and friends...
Oh, but it was widespread. The attacks were nonstop and cruel - I find it funny that these so-called Latinos speak for the entire nation of Hispanics. This crap just isn’t going to fly this election cycle - I sense a change in the air - people are sick and tired of it and see through the media. Their influence is no more.

While any post here on FR that excerpts or provides a link to CNN has a two-fold purpose.
Firstly, to raise awareness of what CNN is saying during this time & place about Ted Cruz .
Of course,CNN is not on his side & will most likely do everything in their little CNN power to take down this
man who is truly qualified to be the next POTUS.
And CNN won’t rest along with the rest of the msm & left-wing pundits to tear this man down.
Secondly, it would behoove the OP to provide commentary
within the post or response(s) to support the potential
candidate Ted Cruz.
Otherwise, I’m just reading a post that links to CNN.
I don’t liek CNN & many of us here don’t either.

There is a Facebook page I don’t recall where Hispanic were commenting on Univision and Ted Cruz. Wow practically everyone was tough on Univision calling them communist, etc. I would say all were in favor of Cruz and are planning to vote for him. Folks don’t believe the crap, the ones who are not going to vote for him are probably Illegal anyways.
Did you read the article? He was pushing-back on the talking heads telling Hispanics what to think about Ted Cruz and/or other candidates.
If they (illegals) start talking like they’re voting for Ted that wall will be up and operational before 2016 and there will be deportations en masse...

Plus, not everything from the MSM is purely left-wing. The author of this article was, as I said earlier, pushing back on the media narrative of Latinos not jibing with Ted Cruz. What was your screen name the last time you were here?
