Did Hillary get the nomination while I was napping?

Wead is scared of Cruz, obviously. His singing praises of
Jeb having fallen by the wayside, he is now trying for Rand.

RAND PAUL IS “NOT” A CONSERVATIVE.
HE IS A LIBERTARIAN - JUST LIKE HIS FATHER.

Since Ted Cruz took the same position on marijuana as Rand Paul, he will likely snarf up a fair chunk of Paul’s supporters.

Difference?
One.
Fifth place minus sixth place equals one.

"Under Pauls original [2012 budget] proposal, defense spending would have dropped from $553 billion in the 2011 fiscal year to $542 billion in 2016. War funding would have plummeted from $159 billion to zero. He called it the draw-down and restructuring of the Department of Defense.
Paul's 2011 recommendations.

Hillary has the nomination unless Val has more to dump. (She probably does)

Obviously, this dude has never heard TC speak.
To: TexasGator
No, nor has he been following the Cruz campaign.

Rand Paul excites that base and motivates them to action. Ted Cruz has all but given up on that base and is focusing exclusively and only on born-again Christians.
What is this guy smoking? So deluded!

Loooong time before anyone gets a nomination...
But how about this:
Ted Cruz is figuring the US to be pretty similar to what it was in the Reagan era. Rand Paul is figuring that it has become something completely different.

Cruz wins the Reagan crowd with his strong on national defense, and America strong position which, as we can see, is going to be all important, very soon, and our current weakness is placing us in the position of losing ground globally, while our enemies are building and expanding.
Things are getting scary not just in the mess in the Middle East, but also in Europe and Asia, even in Latin America.

I actually think this is a great embodiment of what Supreme Court Justice Louis Brandeis called the laboratories of democracy, Cruz said. If the citizens of Colorado decide they want to go down that road, thats their prerogative. I personally dont agree with it, but thats their right. --Ted Cruz at CPAC

Ted Cruz has all but given up on that base
He’s speaking of the tea party here, and he’s flat out lying. I was tea party before there was a tea party and I’m for Cruz. Same for many associates of the same mindset. I have never considered myself part of the Christian right, but it does not bother me that he’s appealing to them too.
I think it does bother the journ-o-lists.
Ted Cruz has not given up on anyone who wants to honor our Constitution.
