He’s right. NEVER get into that fight.
It devolves into “Did!” “Did Not!” and you both look like idiots. And only Democrats can afford to look like idiots at election time (they have media cover).
Best thing you can do is try to ask questions that make voters ask whether or not your opponent loves America.
What Rudy did is akin to what Rove did last year when he threw out the possibility that Hillary might have brain damage.
Rudy and Rove are two senior GOP statesmen with no political futures. They can throw out red meat statements like this and piss off the leftists in a mighty way making great talking points for the Repubs (like Walker) in the field who could not possibly say this. But they think it and agree with it.
Sarah Palin also comes to mind as another GOPer who taunts the libs.
Guiliani just didn’t make the assertion, he backed it up with facts and logic. If he had had a lot more time, he could have talked all night. The Democrats are always making assertions they dream up out of nothing (like the war on women) that are lodged in the national consciousness through media repetition.
If only the Republicans had a set...
Exactly right!!
Stop talking about irrelevant issues such as “obama loves or does not love the country”.
Voters care more about jobs - jobs - jobs!
Talk about how to grow the economy.
Like Kasich has done in Ohio.
Also talk about other issues voters care about...
such as illegals, Obamacare and gun restrictions.
Talking about Obama’s love of the country is moronic and useless.
