Setting aside the biased THINKING, the WRITING is appalling here.
For example:
“actions during his time in office have painted him to be a far cry”
Actions painted someone? As a cry? Whaaat?
I guess you could call that liberal word squeeze.
Add so many unnecessary anti-republican fillers as possible into a sentence before making some kind of "point".
