While I don’t much care for the idea of seeing Ben Carson run for president, he might be a decent VP pick for Ted Cruz.

Yeah, I don't know how he's ranking so high in this (or any other) poll. Gotta be the low info index on our side.

FWIW, I don't even want to see Ben as VP. His thoughts on the 2nd Amendment are too off base to be that close to the Presidency.

I want Cruz for president; and I greatly admire Dr. Carson. I’m just not sure that Dr. Carson’s talents would be best utilized in the VP position.

I really think that he should stay out of politics, and position himself in some other politically influential venue. Politics is a very mean game, and the good Doctor doesn’t have any real experience with it.

But he is so brilliant and principled that he could do much good in a more ‘communicator’ or ‘activist’ area.
