KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) The Missouri Legislative Black Caucus has picked its next leader.
The Kansas City Star (http://bit.ly/10IDWhO ) reports that State Rep. Brandon Ellington will serve as caucus chairman for the 2015 legislative session. The Kansas City Democrat was first elected to the House in 2011 and had served as caucus vice-chair....

“Ellington said the situation in Ferguson has helped people of all races and political philosophies to understand the urgent need for social justice-minded reform in Missouri. He said the Missouri Black Legislative Caucus will take a leading role in the General Assemblys efforts to reshape various aspects of state law to reflect the lessons learned in recent months.
I assume he’s talking about putting an end to roughing up business owners, theft and looting.
How about “social justice” for store clerks?
How much is the New MO Black Caucus willing to accept in order to "make this all go away"?
Social Justice Betterment? How about personal character betterment?
1) Don’t Steal.
2) Don’t Assault the store owner.
3) Don’t use illegal narcotics.
4) Don’t walk around intoxicated and stupid.
5) Don’t Jaywalk.
6) Don’t assault the policeman who tells you to get out of the middle of the road.
He would be alive if he hadn’t acted like a thug.
And attacking cops when they simply ask you not to walk down the middle of a street for both safety and traffic flow, particularly when you are not otherwise on the radar just after assaulting a store clerk...
Hopefully the lesson learned is: Staking your cause on a petty thug is dumb.
New Mo Black Caucus? how about somebody form a NO MO Black Caucus?
incredible
“1) Dont Steal.
2) Dont Assault the store owner.
3) Dont use illegal narcotics.
4) Dont walk around intoxicated and stupid.
5) Dont Jaywalk.
6) Dont assault the policeman who tells you to get out of the middle of the road.”
You’ve got to be kidding. All of the above actually make sense and are reasonable, regardless of your color or party. The “victims of oppression” don’t want to read or hear any of this honky stuff.
The lesson learned is that the truth means nothing. The only thing that matters is the narrative of the racist lynch mob.
“Hopefully the lesson learned is: Staking your cause on a petty thug is dumb.”
You would think that some “lesson would be learned” after elevating the last poster child to sainthood. And the galling thing is that I’m certain that some far better “examples of injustice” have gone completely unnoticed.
We learned “the urgent need for social justice-minded
reform in Missouri.”
equals
“the way to communist subjugation of the American
people is through race baiting.”
To them , him, or anyone of his ilk, acting like a thug is irrelevant. What is relevant, is the victim has no right or business of defending themselves when attacked.
Well hopefully the black caucus and the white caucus can have a civil discussion about this. Oh wait...
“I assume hes talking about putting an end to roughing up business owners, theft and looting”
Exactly
the part about Martin possessing stolen jewelry, smoking dope, brandishing a gun and encouraging fights on video PLUS that fact that he was bashing the head in of a smaller man goes over their heads...
What if there was a “White Legislative Caucus”?
If Ellington wants to confront racism he should look in the mirror.
