The "water's edge" ended in the late 60s and early 70s when the hard left took over the Democrat party. And how about the 80's when Teddy was working with the Soviets trying to undermine Reagan? And how about in recent years when prominent Democrats were running to Baghdad and Damascus to undermine Bush?

I can not comment on the article in its entirety but by reading the headline you would think the Dems has bit the dust.

This happens every time the republicans win a victory but over all the socialists comes out winner a little at a time, a little more socialism here and a little more there.

This will slow down the progress of the socialists but it is not their demise because the voters will turn around and start biting the ones they voted for.
