Two-thirds of Muslim voters plan to visit the polls on Election Day, and more than half of them are Democratic Party supporters, according to a new survey.
Of 1,500 Muslim registered voters surveyed, 69 percent plan to cast ballots in the Nov. 4 midterm elections and 16 percent do not plan to vote, according to the poll conducted Wednesday by the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR). Fourteen percent declined to answer.
Of the nearly 1,000 Muslim registered voters planning to vote, half said they support the Democratic Party, and 15 percent said they back the Republican Party. About one-quarter of the registered voters did not want to share their political affiliation.
“We’ve seen a general trend of Muslims slowly shifting toward the Democratic Party post-2000 and the election of [George W.] Bush,” said Robert McCaw, CAIR government affairs manager. “There has always been Muslim support for Republicans — that 15 percent is pretty constant. What we also see, though, is 23 percent declined to answer or are unaffiliated. Their votes are up for grabs.”(continued)

This is yet another reason to end mass legal immigration. Not only is a growing Muslim population a security threat, it is also another demographic weapon for Democrats.
There is nothing a free country can do about converts to Islam, but it’s insane for a western nation to allow large scale Muslim immigration. Muslim immigration into the US has continued to grow even after 9-11! It’s crazy.
Reversing this trend wouldn’t even require explicitly restricting Muslims or people from Muslim nations. We need only end extended family chain migration, abolish the Diversity Lottery Visas, and disallow unsuitable refugees and asylum seekers and the influx would dry up.

Strange, since some of the moral and family ideas are more in sync with Christians. But not so strange since Muslims seem to embrace a more socialistic idea of government, particularly in the centralization aspect.
Funny. But my comments critical of mass legal immigration wouldn’t be welcome at DU or Reddit because those are liberal sites. Opposition to mass legal immigration is a conservative position. Support for it is a liberal position.
Do you deny that mass legal immigration is a voter importing program for Democrats? Do you think it’s wise to allow increasing levels of Muslim immigration?
Call it a harangue if you want to, but immigration is the most important issue because it impacts all the other big issues. Import millions of left-leaning natural Democrats and you’re going to get a more left-leaning Democrat electorate.
Why not muslims in the coalition of evil? The common thread that unites ‘Rats is a love for the things of satan.
The Dems have been pandering like crazy to the corrupt terrorist loving CAIR. Notice the Dems are all in lockstep seeking to distance islam from islamic terrorists. Obama has been pandering to the terrorist loving muslim brotherhood.
I wish the GOP would pander to Conservatives and work hard to give us Conservative results.
