Mark Steyn, author of The Undocumented Mark Steyn, argued that culture is more important than elections, and that he liked Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) as someone who could shift American politics to the right in an appearance on Tuesdays Hannity on the Fox News Channel.
Steyn stated visions the important part. What's actually happening is that the kind of model of the social democratic welfare dependency state since the Second World War has run out of gas. It's over, and to persuade people to move off that model actually requires you to have a conversation with the people and change minds, which he added goes beyond elections.
According to Steyn, providing a vision is important because a lot of people don't want to think about complicated issues or unpleasant issues. They don't want to think about Islam. They don't want to think about massive debt that will cripple their children's lives, and liberals are very good at just giving them a kind of cute slogan that says this slogan will get you through it. Coexist. You put a coexist bumper sticker on your car you dont have to think about problems of the world anymore.(continued)

You know as well as I do that the Democrat's fecal laden lies are the least of Cruz's worries. He has to make it past what the GOPe will do to him first.
Palin would take the the job.
Not a chance. She ran in second spot once before. If she's looking to run then she's looking for the top of the ticket.

They aren’t as smart as Ted. He knows how to turn the Alinsky game on its head.

Good point. But I think they’re learning.
Another point: Political Correctness was developed by Marxists after the Russian Revolution to control the narrative.
Marxists thought the revolution would spread beyond Russia and when they realized people in other countries were not accepting their vile garbage, they needed a tool to sway them over. Thus, Political Correctness was developed.
Ted understands how to counter it. And once Ted gets going, we’ll be amazed how effective he is.
If so, Ted needs to write a book on how to defeat alinsky's tactics, because there's currently nothing like this on the market.
As a group, conservatives sorely need such training to fight the axis of weasels: namely the libs (both liberals and libertarians), msm, and the gop-e.

Awesome! Time for me to do some studying. Thanks for the links!
Could be, windflier. The future is a mystery. At this point I’d be surprised to see her run, but I’d vote for her, even if I didn’t like her, just on the hope that she’d make some liberal’s head physically explode on TV.
Mark Steyn is a naturalized citizen and as such would not be eligible for the Presidency or Vice Presidency
And the power behind the leftist GOP is the same as behind the socialist party...I mean the democrats.
Well, she doesn't have a legal background, so it's unlikely she'd ever be the US AG. Sarah as President, on the other hand, would have Libs jumping the borders to Mexico and Canada.
I knew that, that’s why I said it was just a dream.
