I seem to remember Takoma Park for one and a couple other MD communities were trying to allow non citizens the vote in local elections using the ‘excuse’ that since they lived in the town etc they should have a say in who runs it.
That small handfull of communities also voted themselves ‘nuclear free zones’.
Would almost like to see a ‘bomb’ dropped on DC to see how the towns would react to the fallout....
Guess the citizens would be holding signs saying the fallout wasn’t allowed to drop in their area.
