Republicans could mess with a program of registering out-of-state college students to vote in local elections. An out-of-state student usually pays more than in-state students for tuition. Republicans should finance lawyers who will approach the out-of-staters and offer their assistance (at no cost) in correcting their school status to in-state student, thereby lowering the student education costs. No more authority than the state government has proclaimed these students to be in-state residents by registering them to vote. How could a college argue?

It's really sad - when my family moved to Rockville in 1956, this was a great place to live and there was plenty of Freedom. As an 8 year-old with a bike, I ranged over miles of territory in Rockville and surrounding areas with impunity and in absolute safety.

Leave it to MoCo to institute another idea attracting the lowest common denominator. Cockroaches have a higher moral baseline. That county was a cesspool when I lived there, and it keeps draining deeper into the bowels of Hell as the years pass by. Jeez, you’re in a worse situation than I am. I’m living in Howard County which is not quite as bad as Montgomery County YET. But it’s headed in the direction Montgomery, Prince Georges and Baltimore city are leading.
