Two steps, not two flights of stairs.
I fell on the short (two steps) flight of stairs while seeing Bryan off to work a couple of weeks ago. I got some bruises,
hit my head on the drywall (and broke my favorite hair clippie), and twisted my ankle a little, nothing major.
My neck hurt really bad for three or four days ( I have cervical spondylosis), but that cleared up, and it’s actually better
than it was before I fell.
It did take about three days before I realized the extent of my injuries, but they all cleared up before too long. I’m not
even noticing any difficulty anymore. I’m old, but I heal fast, and always have.
Thank you all so much for your concern, but I’m really all right. Y’all are true friends.
We will be there. I’m not making soap this year, but I will next year again.
However, I do have a few trinkets for the ladies.
I’m glad that you weren’t badly injured, although I think that was no walk in the park. Falls are a leading cause of death:

Whoa! That doesn’t sound good at all. Please let us know if you
are hospitalized, and we will all pray for you, I’m sure.
When you have a few bucks to rub together, you might try getting
a portable dehumidifier.
I really like dry weather, and I lived in the Palmdale, CA, desert
for a couple of years when I was in my mid 20’s. It was great.
But I got a job in Venice, CA, and had to move back close to the
Pacific Ocean and Marina del Rey. Sigh...

She sure was. It isn’t often you see a spectacle like that one, lol.
I am very careful on those steps now. It’s just two wooden steps
down from the access door to the garage floor. They won’t get
me again, dang it! And I did land on the bottom step anyway.
So I guess I only fell down one step. Sigh...
We have one step down from the house to our deck. My brother in law missed it, and fell to his knees on the deck. I don’t know how he missed injury.
I’ll be ok. Like I said, it’s just discomfort. I’m really blessed my kidneys haven’t failed again.
Thank God he did miss injury!
If I fell on my knees, I’d be in big trouble, so I’m glad I didn’t.
