I think 2014 is going to be a road map for the next decade. If Republicans like Cruz, Lee, etc. take the helm and VERBALIZE CONSERVATIVE TENETS AND VALUES this country will vote Republican for decades on end. The failures of liberals are CLEAR to those that are not completely brainwashed.

Me too, also the writer claims that Clinton and Obama really, truly reached to to Republicans, but “were rebuffed for their troubles.” That’s when I threw up in my mouth a bit.
Clinton worked with Republicans only after the 1994 election when republicans won the house and senate.
Obama never reached out to republicans. His idea of reaching out is, “you can join me in doing what I want to do, or else - either way, I’m doing it.

It’s infuriating... Red is the colour of socialism, communism and Liberals throughout the world. Blue has always been the colour of conservative minded people. How the Republican and conservative movements in America got hoodwinked into accepting red as their colour is beyond me. When I grew up watching television and they announced that Regan had won a majority over Carter, the map was completely blue. When he won his second majority it was blue and when Bush 1 won it was blue. CBS and Dan Rather then decided to buck the trend when Clinton was elected and they decided to show clinton’s states in blue. The other networks didn’t, but come 2006 all of the networks had Clinton in blue and Dole in red. I call on all true American Republicans and Conservatives to take back their colour ‘blue’.
Red is the colour of communism, it’s the colour of Liberal parties everywhere and it’s the true colour of the Democrat party. Period!
The biggest thing to take from this joke of an article is that the far left is bailing on Hillary. They’re rolling the dice on Elizabeth Warren. Another empty suit who the media is going to turn into a mega political star.

If it were only true. The problem is changing demographics. We have entered the era of tribal politics. The Dems are on the verge of becoming the permanent majority party. What state that Obama won in 2012 will the Dems lose in 2016? The Dems start with a huge head start in electoral votes. They can concentrate on a few battleground states and coast in from there.
Sometimes they just come out of nowhere.
