Exactly. Those who follow Georgia politics knew this before the election. It is why Karen Handel’s endorsement of Kingston did NO good. The primary showed that folks didn’t want Kingston. The second round proved it

I not only live in GA; I live in Kingston’s district. I had him figured out the very first time I wrote to him with some issue concerns. No one in his office read my email. Not one concern I mentioned was addressed by the pabulum that was sent back. Some could-care-less intern must have scanned my carefully composed letter & discovered a key word. Then I was sent a smarmy, condescending, GOPe-inspired puke of a response that served only to insult me. It was probably composed by Boehner and distributed to all his most reliable mini-mes, of whom Kingston was foremost.

People don’t know it, but Kingston himself said Obamacare could not be allowed to fail. It would not, in Kingston’s own words, be “responsible” to allow it to fail. I didn’t believe that could actually be true until I read Kingston’s quote with my own eyes. He sure had a lot of people fooled.

Speaking of which, I have the link to an interview in which he says he is open to multiple new gun control laws. His favorite being Fed Gov mandated gun storage laws. What a disastrous boondoggle that would be. But of course, Kingston is pro-gun rights. He said so himself.

Then there is the email he sent me extolling the value of “cheap labor” for GA’s agricultural sector. Can you say ‘comprehensive immigration reform’? Kingston sure could...until the issue became radioactive in this last election. Then...oops, course correction. Lol.

Oh, and did you know the 6.3 million dollar earmark Kingston secured to shore up the beaches on Tybee Island, where he has a vacation home, did NOT benefit Kingston? Well you should know that, because Kingston said he got no benefit from that at all. So what if a refurbished beach maintains the property values in the exact area Kingston’s home is located. It’s still no benefit to him. Anybody who disagrees is just being disagreeable.

I’m so sorry the CoC wasn’t able to get their best buddy reelected. They flushed a record amount of cash down the drain in that effort. My heart feels like an alligator. I sincerely do wish Kingston all the best. After all those pay raises he voted himself, I doubt he’s hurting. & now he has time to enjoy that beach he forced taxpayers to replenish. I’m sure there’s a lovely breeze on Tybee Island this time of year. Best to you, Kingston—I am SO glad you’re no longer my Rep!
