In May, Politico's reporting inside Democratic circles led them to the strange conclusion that the one thing that could sink Hillary's hopes of winning the White House was the press corps. A Clinton insider announced: “She wants to be president; she doesn’t want to run for president...The worst part of running for president for her, clearly, is dealing with the press.”
In July, Politico interviewed former New York Times executive editor Jill Abramson, who made some sense of this bizarre-sounding notion. The media has for many years defended and protected and glamorized the Clintons. But Abramson said Hillary expects the press to be "100 percent in her corner," especially if you're female:
Hillary Clinton, whom she met in 1978, while Bill Clinton was running for governor. At the time, Abramson found her to be friendly and very helpful as a source. But once Hillary became first lady, their relationship cooled. “Hillary is incredibly unrealistic about journalists,” Abramson told me. “She expects you to be 100 percent in her corner, especially women journalists. She got angry with me because when I became the top-ranking woman at the New York Times, she thought I should be loyal. An editor is going to be independent, always.”
While is quick to dismiss a "rapacious, shallow and sometimes downright sexist national press corps acting as enablers for her enemies on the right," we protest by recalling the avalanche of pro-Hillary pap she's received over the last 22 years. The One is taking another vacation very soon, amid all the ongoing crises. Bill should be working behind the scenes to orchestrate a coup/arrest/whatever during his absence, and install Biden as President who would in turn appoint Hillary as his VP. Then he could either resign for Hillary to become President, or serve out his term and Hillary goes into the election as the incumbent VP.
And don’t say there are laws that would prevent this - what do ANY of these people care about laws?
And why on earth would she not think the corrupt MSM would be 100% in her corner? They are 100% in every other Democrat’s corner.
