After watching the video, it sounds like there are problems with votes in several different categories. It also sounds like there are not enough of them to equal the number Cochran won by. A Fed. judge may disqualify the election due to the fact that there are enough irregularities to cast doubt on the integrity of the election process. Additionally, they may do so because it could serve a political purpose of making the Republicans look like slime balls.
Thanks to almost sixteen clerks who opened their ballot boxes and gave them unfettered access to the poll books.That would be sixty, not sixteen. Most of the clerks did their job without being ordered to by a court. Good writeup, good presser.
One point stated but not emphasized was that McDaniel's lawyers think McDaniel won the primary outright (got over 50% of the valid ballots), rendering the runoff election unnecessary.
