Actually they learned it from the portion of the base that to this hour, are out there pushing the no matter what meme. Birds of a feather flock together...puts the lie to the claim that there's a difference between the GOPe and the Democrats.

They do if they don’t vote for them, that’s obvious.

Fortunately this fiasco opened lots of eyes. I have seen lots of comments across the sites/blogs about people reregistering as indy. Hopefully when the fundraising numbers get crunched, we will see the true result. And I think that there will be a whole lot less volunteer/GOT stuff in their future.
The no matter what crew must be absolutely seething. Good. Hope they blow a vein.

Withholding donations is fine, but dont kid yourselves: Moneys the one thing that GOP incumbents and the NRSC dont want for. If they lose $10 million from the base in boycotted contributions, Sheldon Adelson can make it up for them in one check to the right Super PAC.
That's there bottom line. They don't stand for the people, just like the democrats. They do the bidding of big donors, big lobby and big chamber of commerce.

And if youre unwilling, maybe its time to stop complaining about Cochran and cronyism and the rest of it and accept that this is who we are and who were going to be. Screw that. I'm NOT that and I'll NEVER be that.

Thing is though, All the Addelbrains in the world can spend till the cows come home. It is meaningless if enough votes cant be manufactured come election day.

Agree. It was on life support before MS.
It’s dead to me after MS.
I am a former Mississippian and I am disgusted.

The Republican party is dead to me, it died in Mississippi. Yes, they went too far.
Normally, come November I'll hold my nose and vote for the RINO figuring they're still better than Democrats.
Not anymore. What Cochran did (with the support of his party) was underhanded and sleazy. He deserves to lose, McConnell deserves to lose and the Dems can keep and make gains in the Senate as far as I'm concerned.
The GOP played every card they had to defy their base and there need to be consequences. Actively courting black Democrat voters to win a runoff against the leading and more conservative candidate was the final straw.
I've nothing but contempt right now.

I think they’re going to be amazed and caught flat-footed if Ted Cruz and/or Sarah Palin ever run for president. Like I’ve said before, I’m all geared up to raise a million or two dollars and I’m a fat old disabled veteran.

Well, of course, one obvious thing that needs to be done is for McDaniel and his allies in the Mississippi legislature to close their open primaries in the next legislative session. Before Wicker runs for reelection.

Actually the GOP, no e has chosen sides. It is now up to anyone left there with integrity, all THREE to FIVE of them to get out of there or go down with the rest.
There is no E/no E checkbox on the ballot.
