Sucks that you know so little about racing!

It takes about $5000 per event to even run a production hobby car in SCCA. To run in nationally publicised events it can be from $50,000 to the millions.

No racing would exist without sponsors.

That's the way it is ~ one of my wife's nephews ended up getting sponsored by so many clothing companies (for surfing competitions) he had a good 20 years supply of cutoffs and hoodies.
