"One Gun With One Bullett": More Evidence that NY Democrats Are Coming For the Second Amendment
The Mental Recession ^ | 01/21/2013

Last week we showed you a Democrat wish list for gun control proposals, as presented by Assemblyman Steve McLaughlin. The list was given to McLaughlin by a colleague in the Senate, and includes a host of radical Second Amendment-trampling ideas, including the confiscation of so-called 'assault weapons', the re-labeling of semi-automatic shotguns as 'assault weapons', and the confiscation of magazines hosting 5 rounds or more.

More video clips from the debates leading up to the Governor's over-reaching gun grab are surfacing, and there is clear evidence supporting the list presented by Mr. McLaughlin as reality.

Democrat proposals are so radical for example, that the following video clip not only backs up the wish list, but shows even further evidence.

In this clip, New York State Democrat Assemblyman from Westchester County, Tom Abinanti spoke during an Assembly Session on January 15th, and provided some very revealing statements.

Perhaps most strikingly is the Democrat's statement beginning at the 3:40 mark regarding "one gun with one bullet".

Abinanti: "The reasonable gun owners that I talk to tell me they want one gun with one bullet. They're going to lock themselves in their bedroom, and if that guy comes in that's when they pull the trigger."

Apparently Mr. Abinanti has never heard of a situation where more than one criminal breaks into a home, or assaults an innocent civilian.

I’m surprised they aren’t pushing pre loaded one time use guns for the limited few.

They could only be bought after an extensive registration process and 6 month waiting period and expensive insurance is purchased. After the gun is fired it must be turned in to police who will conduct an extensive and lengthy investigation to determine if the firing was justified. The you have to start all over to buy another 1 time use gun.

Don’t forget MA Gov. Patrick, who is ramming-through the Legislature new laws that will ban (and possibly confiscate) any gun that takes more then seven rounds or looks “scary,” will limit gun purchases to one gun a month per person, and will punish lawful gun owners with a raft of other utterly useless steps. Oh, yeah; he’s also allocating a pittance to help the mentally ill.

My uncle used to have a pair of muzzle-loading flintlock dueling pistols in a drawer in the library. Single barrel, ivory handles.

But you can’t have a duel without two pistols. I guess next thing they’ll be outlawing duels!

I think Mr. Abinanti wants the one bullet reserved for suicide.

Hush! I don't think any of the rights thieves had thought of that one yet!

I would like to see a picture of these reasonable morons this clown talked to.

I would imagine they all have pin heads.

I can’t imagine any reasonable man with enough intelligence to wipe his own azz who would say such a thing

He (Mr. Abinati) claims that he does not “wish to repeal the Second Amendment” rather, “JUST MAKE IT WORK FOR EVERYONE.”

This brings to my mind a concept I have been entertaining... THE OBAMAGUN... Think about it!

..”The reasonable gun owners that I talk to tell me they want one gun with one bullet. They’re going to lock themselves in their bedroom, and if that guy comes in that’s when they pull the trigger.” ....

I want to see who these “reasonable” gun owners are and have them committed for being insane, not reasonable. Even most Derringers had 2 shots. The only thing most one shot guns are good for is suicide or learning.

Abinanti: "The reasonable gun owners that I talk to tell me they want one gun with one bullet. They're going to lock themselves in their bedroom, and if that guy comes in that's when they pull the trigger."

First off, he starts with a fictional event. To a leftist, there is no such thing as a "reasonable gun owner." Something I see leftists go on about is how police are trained and should be the only ones with guns... So here's a question: Why is it that these "well trained" police officers typically miss their targets from 30% to 70% of the time... How well is that "one bullet" going to work.

Then again, let's assume that one does hit one's assailant. How about that lady protecting her two children from an assailant who broke into her home. She shot him repeatedly, hitting him in the face and chest FIVE TIMES before he decided that he had had enough, and walked out of the house.

I guess the "if it saves just one life" argument is really supposed to apply to the assailant, NOT the crime victims.

This guy is one of the biggest idiots ever to take a breath, along with Jerald Nadler.

Here’s what we have to watch for. As much as I detest Dems, they aren’t as stupid as their actions are.

IMO, rather than try to strike down the Second Amendment in its entirety, they will try to envelope it with so many restrictions and regulations that exercising one’s Secand Amendment rights will be come a frustrating and difficult thing to do. IOW, they will heap so much regulation and paperwork on owning or purchasing a gun that they hope to force most of us to give up before we succeed.

The Second Amendment will still exist when they’re done. It just won’t be accessible!!
