Palin was originally quite naive about journalists.

I'd say you are quite naive about Sarah! She was a journalists but not a devious one. She was around them, so she knew them.

Palin was an Alaskan journalist, and lived a rather sheltered life right up until her VP run.

At that point she because target one on the national liberal smear machine. Number one.

She knew them, but not the national agenda being driven by them.
