Anne is at the Romney-Ryan rally in Waukesha. She says the crowd is so large they had to move the rally from indoors to outdoors to accomodate all the people.
Were still trying to confirm the crowd size estimate. (Campaign says 10,000, which is similar to what Anne was told.)
Apparently three protesters managed to interrupt the speeches. Heres a tweet of one heckler.
Here are some photos Anne sent along.
The line of car seemed to go on forever:
The crowd was large:
And Anne managed to get pretty close to the stage
Live Romney/Ryan event in Waukesha, Wi. 6:00 pm central
Drudge had a tweet, 13,200. See post 107 for sources.
Oh, Ron Johnson said, he had to be escorted down the wrong side of the road to get to the event.
Looks almost as bad as Nascar traffic trying to get into Kentucky Speedway.
They may want to plan a bit better for the rest of the rallies.
Doesn’t Hugh Romney go by the name Wavy Gravy?
Wow. Nice turnout!
A crowd of Palin-esque proportions!
I used to work in Alliance near the Texas Motor Speedway. Dreaded race day, which I saw a lot of, since I worked 12 hour days (Friday/Saturday/Sunday) which was a full time schedule. One day they had an air show and a B-2 kept flying right over my car.
To the dems....Be afraid, be very afraid:o) The American people are on to you!
We’re coming for them. Take back America tour begins 2012

Psychedelic clown Wavy Gravy. His real name is Hugh Romney.
this is kind of has a feel of President Bush’s and Dick Cheney’s first run for the WH. I was at the Chattanooga TN rally and it was crazy crowded and the people were fired up!
Very impressive! I heard Obama was charging $51.00 at a campaign event today to a half empty venue.
Yet I wonder if someone didn’t still faint listening to dear leader....
Can we confirm any fainting at the Romney-Ryan event?
Re: fainting
They hauled off one lady on a stretcher, but she was sitting up and alert. The local TV pulled the cameras off of her when they realized that it was someone in distress.
What they absolutely have to do is find a way to get out to those overflow areas for a quick “hi and thanks for being here”. Every one of them is loaded with self-qualified prospects who can be turned into confirmed sales with just the slightest of effort. I watched Bush do it in 2000, and it was a huge hit.
