Here’s the thing.

As conservatives, we always split our votes among several good conservative candidates, many of which would make excellent presidents...but all that does is give the establishment RINO a chance to win with a plurality of the vote.

After the early primaries are out of the way the establishment RINO is left with a majority of delegates and of course all the money he needs to go forward.

This is what happened in 2008.

See; Nixon, Ford, Bush, Dole, Bush, McCain, and now Romney.

I am tired of the RINO parade.

If we, as conservatives, want a conservative nominee, it’s my opinion we need to come together early behind a single conservative candidate.

Obviously, it will be very hard to get principled conservatives to unite like this, as each faction digs in and rightly sees any type of compromise as not holding to their principles.

I’ve already taken a lot of heat for this, but I really believe a vote for anyone other than Palin this time around is in effect a defacto vote for Romney.

The establishment is VERY good at getting their candidate. They know they can divide our votes with a large field of candidates. They do it every time.

***I can see your point. What I could not see last time around was why FR & JimRob didn’t line up behind the most conservative candidate, Duncan Hunter. Fred had all the name recognition and sucked the oxygen out of the room. This time around we have a good, solid conservative with plenty of name recognition. Hopefully, that means things are different this time around.

***True. But the field isn’t so large this time around. The main principles to uphold are the bedrock items such as how Jimrob described them, and are once again splashed across the main page:
