It’s only *now* that the GOP has the power to say “No” at all.

Right, and when the election comes around we will vote in a president FOR the USA and people will not have to vote against the communist takeover, otherwise known as ‘no gridlock’.

I can't believe McCain managed to get reelected. I wonder what drugs are in Arizona water? They are voting as bad as people do here in CA IMO. Well, don't forget, there were also outside forces. Palin and most all of the Republican "leadership" got behind him and pushed hard.

Campaigning is different than governing Someone must have fed him that line because HE certainly doesn't behave as if he recognizes any difference!

But Im sure the American people did not vote for more gridlock. Dems controlled the executive branch and both houses of Congress! What gridlock is he describing and to whom does he ascribe said gridlock?

Ahead of his meeting with the Republican leaders this week, President Obama today warned them the era of just-say-no is over. The GOP opposed nearly every initiative Obama and the Democrats offered and sometimes passed over the last two years. This from the man who just had his political head handed to him and claimed that he wads "anxious" to work with Republicans. Expect more of the same-old, same-old!!

Why don't DeMint and other GOP spokespeeples add ONE freakin' sentence to their talking points on extending the tax cuts to the middle class AND WEALTHY!!!!
Just this: "Who creates the employment in this country, the welfare class or the 'wealthy'?"
Just so all the dummies get it.

What right does he have to “warn” them about anything? He was out of line.
