Translation: Palin’s ability to motivate the conservative base screws up all our plans.

It would be the worst outcome of this Election Day if the conservative wave were to carry Tancredo into office.

It would be the expression of the will of the people. I understand why one of Rove's minions would hate that.

"None of our low blows and cheap shots had any effect because she wasn't acting like a typical Republican."

Yeah. She was acting like a Ronald Reagan.

One wonders whether Karl Rove's misogyny is rooted in closeted homosexuality or rooted in his divorce. Regardless, his efforts to destroy Palin will fail.

Gerson’s a Johnny One Note. Immigration is his thing and he hates Tancredo.

This is so predictable.

Oh, whatever, libtards. The only thunderhead on the horizon is the one barrelling toward the polls today. Heads up, dummies. You’re gonna get drenched.

Why are people so afraid of this woman?

I read a blog from a liberal leaning acquaintance of mine who posted about her family Halloween party talking about her dad’s charcoal grill coloring the hot dogs as “black as Sarah Palin’s heart”.

NUTS!

Palin has been touring the country building a base to take back our country.

What have have Karl Rove and Company been doing to stop the Europeanisation of America?

Notice that Gerson also did name his “sources”. I wonder why?

Michael Gerson pimping Romney
"Romney went on to dispute one of Kennedy's central arguments ...
Romney argued that Mormonism reinforces basic American values
Romney's speech, however, was an achievement.
Kennedy's speech remains a landmark of American rhetoric.
But Romney's deserves to be read beside it."

Michael Gerson pimping RomneyCARE
" Instead, the president chose the current complex, regulatory approach to reform,
precisely because it seemed less radical and disruptive than the other options.
It was patterned in part on health reforms in Massachusetts signed by then-Gov. Mitt Romney,
a Republican, thereby applying at least a veneer of bipartisanship.

You watch, Rove and The Bushes will end up supporting RINO InsideTheBeltway Romney and not supporting the TEA Party nor Sarah Palin.

Sarah Palin: RINO golden haze wrecker.

Mr. Gerson is a senior fellow at the Council on Foreign Relations and a Karl Rove protege.

...and Bohemian Club attendee.

I think she has been remarkably consistent. She jumps in and endorses (1) Conservatives; (2) Who are behind but not hopeless; (3) At a strategic time so that her endorsement can kick them past the finish line.

Her assessments of where to jump in have been quite acute. She already has considerable record of success and, if we do well today, should be entitled to a significant share of the credit for making congress more conservative this year.

For myself coming from one of the “darker corners of the right” I guess I have a “preference for a shallow ideological purity above achievement, qualification or electoral success.”

Is it really shallow of me to believe that:

- we should rule our own lives?
- the government should not be achieving what it is not authorized to do?
- the people are more qualified to determine their own lives direction?
- electoral honesty and integrity is more important that success?
