TULSA, Okla. Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin said Wednesday it's time for Republican Party bosses to put aside their differences and capitalize on a series of victories by tea party-backed candidates heading into the November election.
The 2008 Republican vice presidential candidate told the enthusiastic crowd of about 1,000 at a gala in Tulsa that voters have six weeks until they can turn things around and "rein in" the federal government and "its growth and overreach into our businesses and into our families and into our individual lives" and allow states' rights to prevail.(continued)

President Palin..
Vice President Christie...
sort of has a nice ring to it.
Christie endorsed Castle over Christine O’Donnell in Delaware. In fact I think he said Christie was a good friend of his.
Aside from his taking on the teacher’s union what else has he said or done that shows you that he is conservative?
The message would have been more meaningful if she was not the reason for creating deep divisions in the primary cycle.
And, I love it when Freepers want to reverse deep blue states in one election to deep red states. Ain’t going to happen. Period.
You again?!! Deep divisions? WTF?! Oh, you wanted people like Mike Castle elected? Already have a position on “Team Romney” or waiting for a call?
The message would have been more meaningful if she was not the reason for creating deep divisions in the primary cycle.
She could. If she is consistent. She is not.
And, you sow divisions and you reap.
Palin is a deeply polarizing and opportunistic person. We don’t need that nightmare after the nightmare of the most polarizing Obama.
No, I am not a Romney fan. Although, if the only two candidates running are Palin and Romney, I will hold my nose and take Romney.
‘Aside from his taking on the teachers union what else has he said or done that shows you that he is conservative?’
Well, I am looking at his town hall meeting video where he is talking about accountability. Granted, he does not tell you what exactly he is going to cut, but he explains himself very well
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BtJK1_1c3DU&feature=player_embedded
He is trying to not only reduce pension payouts and teachers’ salaries, but also property taxes. If you listen to him, he seems to have a common sense approach and explains himself, without rancor, very well.
He hasn’t been in public office long enough to see a great deal of activity, but I like what I see. -However what you say about his support for Castle is troubling.
If ever there was a time for a blue state to go red, this is the year. You, along with many others, are going to be totally stunned at what happens on Nov. 2nd.
Too bad that Sarah’s subjective judgments about candidates didn’t match yours. There are too many factors involved to have consistency. No two of us will agree 100%.
The only way not to create division in a primary is to stay silent and go with the flow. All conservatives are benefiting from her not being silent.
Yes, it's called leadership.
Its interesting, as the “moderates” fall, to see who comes out of the woodwork to complain.
And its interesting to see who is in the thick of every battle. As I like to say from time to time, leaders lead and fighters fight. If you want to know who is going to be president just look to see who is out there leading and fighting. The people waiting for a coronation come primary season are in for a rude awakening. We don’t need leaders who are waiting to be hired for the job, the real leaders are already in the thick of it. Just look around you. You can make your own list, but its a pretty short list, you can count them on one hand.
I am excited to see how new leaders and fighters are coming out of the woodwork, though. The press like to call it the tea party; call it what you want, its an awakening. People have decided to take their party back. They are going to win, I think. If they fail, they will go elsewhere and the GOP will join the Whigs on the shelf of forgotten historical oddities. This is do or die time.
what will be so funny is a freshman R senator w/ an R majority taking over the Foreign Affairs Committee & telling horseface to STFU or Rangel’s Committees & telling him, “you’re under arrest”
Written like a true Willard fan. We already ahd the hold your nose candidate in 2008. How did that work for you?
Romney’s not opportunistic? Palin is polarizing to those who don’t like the conservative positions held by the majority of the people in the country—because those are Palin’s positions and she’s so charismatic and good at advancing them that the Democrats and RINOs who disagree with the American people are deathly afraid of her.
Although, if the only two candidates running are Palin and Romney, I will hold my nose and take Romney.

You are aware the Romney drafted, supported and signed a socialist government health insurance program in Massachusetts that is the same as what Obama shoved down our throats nationally with his “health care” plan. Health care in quotes because it will be rationing and high taxes . . . no caring involved. I don’t know how a conservative could vote for Romney. Romney is not conservative, is personally not trustworthy and blows with the wind, changing positions with whatever seems best at the moment for him, AND he is the worst possible candidate for Republicans in 2012 because we lose the health care issue then, since he did the same exact thing when he was governor.
PS: There are huge cost overruns and Romneycare in Mass. has failed. That’s a big big reason Scott Brown won when he said he would vote against the “health care” bill.
Palin can only be considered polarizing because liberals and marxist go rabid at the mere mention of her name.
They are scared to death of her...and should be.
Opportunistic? No, I describe it as a laser focus. She gave up her post because the media was making it impossible to do her job. In place, her Lt. Gov (Parnell?) stepped in and continued the agenda. Her focus is on policy wins and election wins, not on credit or building herself up. She’s chosen to back candidates that were total long-shots, and she won. She has moxie like nobody else on our side.
I’ll let my actions speak. When SarahPAC was first formed, I donated $500 to it (I’m on the first 10 pages of the first FEC report). I gave a little more, and then when she backed McCain and Graham, I stopped.
The AZ primary is over now, so I gave her another $500. On 2 January, I will give her $5000. If she forms an exploratory committee or candidate committee, I will max out my donations the moment they start accepting donations.
Good work! You’re backing the strongest force we have for taking back the country.
How I wish I could give to her like that....you’re doing something for us all who love her....
