After reading this I suspect that Rush had an encounter with MSG laced food. I had the same thing happen to me. I had all of the classic heart attack symptoms and was rushed to the hospital. After all of the tests were completed I was advised that my heart was in fine shape and they sent me home. After the same thing happened several more times over the next 5 years I came to the conclusion that it was more that a random problem. After a lot of research it became obvious that Mono sodium Glutamate (MSG) was the problem. It is a flavor enhancer used in some restaurants(Chinese), in some canned soup, and anything else that needs a flavor boost, it is not necessarily listed. Check with the FDA if you are in doubt.

I have heard that referred to as Chinese Restaurant Syndrome. I too have an MSG intolerance, but the symptoms are limited to a bad headache. Won Ton soup is the worst offender. Lots of MSG in a solution. Quick absorption.

MSG gives me headaches, has since I was a kid. I have to avoid many types of hot dogs, processed meats, and so forth. That stuff is more food than people realize.
