Tonight twenty or so FReepers and patriots congregated on the south-west corner of Blackstone and Shaw to see if the peaceniks would once again dare to show their faces on their regular corner and this time we met a group that appeared to be the same size or slightly smaller than ours. None of the peaceniks ventured across the street tonight though, unlike last weekend. They just put in their time and then left fifteen minutes before they usually do. We stayed until we were sure the last of them had driven off before we headed for a late dinner or home.
The peaceniks held a few new signs tonight that I hadn't seen before. One said, "Spend our tax money feeding America's poor - not killing innocent children". The other said, "Killing children is a crime we cannot tolerate". They are completely unconcerned about the innocent Americans killed by the terrorists on September 11th.
It was a chilly forty-six degrees out there tonight and very windy. Ann's cookies gave us energy to beat off the cold. Thanks, Ann!

Sometimes the Government can make a mess of things, but I owe this country, and I want the chance to carry my end of the load! If it weren't for you all, it would almost be too heavy and too far away to catch back up! Thank you for keeping the right side of our Government on the right track!!

I wonder how many of these same "peaceniks" are crying about "poor" Andrea Yates,
saying she shouldn't be in prison because she's "sick"
(even tho' she killed 5 children)
Yep, and I bet these are the same type of people who insist that a woman has the 'right' to 'choose' to kill her pre-born children!
Oh, you bet they do, probably every last one of them.........and they think that those of us who believe in saving those babies' lives are 'right wing extremists.'
