I sure hope so - and I wish the President was mad enough over it to appoint all the rest of his candidates too. That would be the biggest hoot!!

I was thinking the same thing. Just appoint 'em all and let the courts start processing trials in a more timely manner. The Judiciary Committee is preventing the legal system from dealing with criminals and disenfranchising the rest of the Senate from their Constitutional duty.

Now, there's an idea........and let Sandra Day O'Connor leave the Supreme Court the same day, and let Bush promptly make a recess appointment of Judge Bork to SCOTUS and several dozen conservative judges.......and the payback for Bill Lann Lee and so many other loathesome Klintoon recess appointments will be complete!
