Good for you rw, I'd do the same if there was a call for blood (which we typically get once every 4 months). They are out of their minds, and I am wondering how much crouching dragons like Marvin from the ACLU receive in legal fees for their psychotic subterfuge. What I wouldn't give to be in attendance at one of these "legal strategy" meetings. Meetings you and I pay for by the way!

If they continue to leave "God" out, they can count ANY of our charitable donations "out", also.

The United Way almost lost our support years ago after the Boy Scout debacle and after this and the NY 9-11 fund abuse, looks like Salvation Army might be the only national "community chest" agency to receive our donations.

Here is a copy of a letter/e-mail that I just sent the Red Cross.

Dear Sir or Madam,

I've just read an article indicating that "God", "Prayer" and other religious types of speech is frowned upon by your Orange County Chapter. As an ER doctor, I've seen and done my share of fundraising and blood donations in the past. I'll never allow a nurse, medical student, volunteer, or aide collect money for the American Red Cross again while I'm on duty. I'll also forward your policy to the Director of our Emergency Room and the CFO and CEO of our hospital with a copy of the article and a letter to the editor of our local newspaper.

Thank you for your time.

Very strong! Way to go!

(My favorite is still: "In God We Trust" is on my cash, so I won't be sending you any more now that I know it offends you.)

Also sad...All the churches in my hometown encouraged the donation of blood to the Red Cross. Do they not want to except the blood of someone who believes in God as well?

Your mother is most gullible!

You should encourage her to spend time here to get hardened to that leftist crap.

the Red Cross stands firmly by their policy, that any expression of ‘God’ shall be excluded in the name of tolerance, religious diversity, impartiality, neutrality and inclusion.

glad to heard the old RC exclusionary policy on "greenbacks." Don't send checks or money orders or credit card.

What the hell is going on here? It was decided months ago that the Red Cross is not what we thought it was. BIG charity is just as bad as BIG government.

I am going to send them Monopoly money, along with a note telling them that I would have sent real money, but didn't because I wouldn't want to offend them with the "In God We Trust" message on the bills.

Unlike emails and phone calls, which they could ignore; they would have to spend time and resources opening these protest letters, thinking there are donations inside. Let the games begin.

1. Everything is getting way off the tracks in America. Judeo/Christian ethnic cleansing policies in the American Red Cross!?? It is like the UNESCO pledge to promote/protect cultural diversity (even pagan head hunters etc) but also wipe out Judeo-Christian cultural references. This is the same tenet of secular humanism/socialism that is evident all over the UN Charter, the charter of hundreds of NGO's that attend the UN Cocktail set; and how much money does UNcle Sam give to their bank accounts.

2. Blood donation is screened for HIV, drugs, etc, etc, in the effort for pure blood. But pure blood is a physical result of spiritual cleanliness, clean living (the 80% plus that believe in a Creator and follow a social/sexual code of conduct). No God = no clean blood? Maybe an extreme statement, but how far from the truth is it really?

3. Secular humanism and the NEA/NOW invaded the government schools and the alternative (private) schools prospered. Should the Salvation Army get into the Blood Donation and welfare business as a Judeo-Christian alternative to the Double Cross??? Why not. 4. So many organizations and people have equated racial intolerance with religious intolerance. They have been welded together courtesy of the CNN/Clinton years and leftist college/media/NGO/ACLU dominance. I am a sectarian. Not racist. I pray for Chinese Christians and Sudanses Christians etc. The true God is not racist, but He is "sectarian" if thats the right word for it -- exclusionist. God is not into the Koran and jihads and merciless laws that mutilate His Laws. My attitudes, patriachial or whatever, reflect that. Get over it Mr Red Double Cross. Don't try to ethnically cleanse me! Tolerate sectarianism.

"GOD"shall be excluded in the name of tolerance, religious diversity etc."--It is apparent to me the Red Cross along with other similar thinking groups are in part responsible for the 9/11 attacks on this country. All this nonsense about diversity, tolerance and inclusion harm AMERICA because it destroys unity and causes to many people to go in to many directions. This kind of thinking causes things to become lax and encourages wrong behavior especially from our enemies. It gives our enemies too much freedom to work their evil and this simply cannot be allowed if AMERICA is to remain strong.Diversity and tolerance are not a sign of strength,BUT WEAKNESS!

To put things in perspective, this is the same Red Cross who just last month trooped off to Camp X-Ray in Guantanamo to investigate mistreatment of Al Qaeda prisoners making sure that they had ethnically sensitive meals, prayer rugs, clean clothes, and cigarettes.

It's perfectly clear what global sector the American Red Cross has embraced as its "international" buddy.

No wonder the Red Cross cannot allow the non-Muslim lyrics of "God Bless the USA" to insult the Islamic sensibilities of its twin sister organization in the charity game.

The Koran specifically forbids these "God" references to any name but Allah.

The Red Cross has deep concerns over the acceptability of the word "God" sung by American children--yet the Red Cross is voicing very grave concerns over the Gitmo living conditions of the Muslim terrorists who attacked America.

The American Red Cross has made its position crystal clear--it has chosen Allah over God.

I shall refrain from offending the Red Cross in any way. I will do so by placing my God-given lifeblood in a personal blood bank and by refusing to abuse the Red Cross' sensibilities by sending anything with the word "God" on it, for example; "In God we Trust".

I shall thusly tolerate the Red Cross' understanding of "Tolerance".

This page has NO info ABOUT the 'emblem' and a lot of the pictures do not download.

Another thought comes to me.......

It'll only cost you less than two bucks:

Take a dollar bill; CUT the 'In God We Trust' out of it, and send it to them.
A 'Show-n-Tell' item will hit home harder than e-mails they can delete enmass!

Here is the address for donations by mail. Wear it out folks. Email can quickly be deleted, and the phone can be hung up on us, but these envelopes will have to be opened one at a time and processed. Make sure to use an opaque envelope so they can't just hold it up to the light and see the Monopoly money inside. This will be very time-consuming, especially when there will be thousands of them. Heheh.

When the head of the Orange County Red cross said that the Declaration of Independence is a political document and it may offend some! Doesn't this mellon head know that the Declaration of Independence is the foundation of our country? Damn her, and damn the Red cross
