Senate Majority Leader Tom Daschle, who last week criticized President Bush for the direction of the war in Afghanistan, is now praising the president's leadership.

In a resolution, Mr. Daschle declares that the Senate "stands united with the president in the ongoing effort to destroy al Qaeda." He also offers condolences to the families of U.S. troops killed in action.

What a whim!!! He takes a stand and then does a 180. Isn't this about the third strike since January for him??? His great economy speech tanked too...then the secret gov., Bush proved he lied..then questioning the war. Little tommyboy needs a new polling group, the one he is using must be of the 5% against the president.

Democrats continued to search yesterday for safe ground on which to differ with the White House on the war. Some Democrats complained that the administration was not briefing them on the war's direction and on emergency plans to keep the government running.

I think that sums it up pretty well: The Democrats are floundering without any of their traditional issues taking hold with the American people. Clinton spent their inheritance. Now, they have to suffice with watching Bush kick their asses ...

Hey, where is the BARF alert?? What a smarmy guy Daschle is. Talk about giving aid and comfort to the enemy! By the way, unity means "singleness; harmony". This hardly describes Daschle.

LOL! It seems every month Daschle has a new stumble. January was the economy speach, February was the Enron business, and March is the defense comments. Keep it up little tommy!!

Unbelievable, absolutely, un-friggin-believable! This coackroach should find the nearest Raid Roach Motel. If I were his wife, I'd kick him in the nuts, and leave him in a heartbeat. This friggin coward is WORSE than Jane Fonda back in 1972. The two of them should be put on the front lines with our REAL Americans and see how long these two twerps could hold their "water." Daschle would come back with a yellow stain in his shorts, just like his ex-president, Coward Clinton did. Clinton's stain was a different color under different cir-cum-stances.

Sorry for the rant guys, but, I hope we can work a campaign that shows this yo-yo flipping faster a Czechoslovakian acrobat in the Sochol (sp?). Regards.

" An aide to Mr. Daschle said his office received an increased volume of phone calls after his criticisms last week but did not know whether the callers supported or opposed his stance."

Well, DUH, let's see, i would say with Bushs' approval rating, that they were against YOU Daschle!!!!! To the aide; why do you not know if they were for or against, didn't you answer the damn phone?

Tom Daschle is getting shorter by the day...if he keeps it up he will soon look like 'mini-me'.

As Al Quaida and Democratic losses mount, it is more and more obvious that there is a just God in heaven.
