My great aunt used to live in Palm Springs. There are lots of old, ugly things in that town. Used to be represented in Congress by Republican Sonny Bono, and now by his former wife.
Thanks. However, I read about this years ago. I don't know why it just now made the 'news.' When I read about it, they were describing large round 'donut' shaped plants that were viewed from the air. The thought then was that they were radiating out from an original central plant that had long since passed on. The centers were open and clear with only the 'donut' surviving.
