Yes, Ted is somewhat troubled. But for Howie to go on and on about the Kennedy family without a mention of his own private school upbringing is just not fair. My point being, if you lost two, I mean three, brothers to violent death, would you not take solace in the booze on occasion. Give him a blasted break.

Many men and women around Ted Kennedy's age lost older brothers in World War II but didn't become alcoholics or commit negligent homicides. He has no excuse for his recklessness behaviour and could have accomplished much more with the privileges he was given, not earned.

I don't think so, this man, with his name, has had more breaks than any one man should have, and he hasn't given us one, he's still alive..... What to you consider a heavy drinker? This man hasn't seen a sober day in 20 years. and he is surrounded by Liberal Bed Wetting Left wing, vote and protect any Demoncrat at all costs, DEMOCRATS...This state would re-elect him is he was shown, on film, comitting a crime. The state MOTTO of Massatushits, is ELECT A DEMOCRAT AT ANY COST

I hope that was sarcasm. If not, turn in your screen name and go back to wherever you came from (hackerama, DNC, the Big House, Hope, Chappaqua, or wherever) when you logged in a big two days ago. We got along without ya before we met ya and......SITEPEST ALERT!

"My point being, if you lost two, I mean three, brothers to violent death, would you not take solace in the booze on occasion. Give him a blasted break."You can't be serious. Give him a "break"? Methinks you have it backward, my friend. Let's all ask fat Teddy to give US a break, crawl into some hole he has dug for himself over the years, and wash away his heartache (note: he doesn't give two seconds' thought to his brothers; bank on it) with all of the booze he can handle. We'd all be better off.

I won't give him a break. None of the Kennedys are any good. What a pity that their great, great grandfather wasn't sterile!

I vote for relative. Do tell!

The Senate is not a refuge for troubled personalities. You don't get a license to be re-elected because it has therapeutic value for you. It would be easier to feel sorry for these people if they weren't ruining the country, ripping off the taxpayer, and setting horrible examples for the young.

Oh, give me a break! You stand guilty of self-demonstrated "rump-swabbery" of he first degree.
The only thing any of Teddy's brothers did was Joe who got himself blown-up in a flying bomb. The Kennedy's and their liberal enablers have done more to destroy this Representative Republic than all of its enemeies in all of our wars.
I once "rubbed elbows" with Ted Kennedy, actually two years ago at Logan in a bathroom. He had just poured himself off a flight from Reagan National Airport and was fumbling in a drunken stupor to find his member and get it out before he urinated. His breath was a cross between a toxic waste dump and a daisy cutter just before ignition.<p.Yeah, liberals, you can really be proud of your poster child.

Ahh---the "Infamous 'Blasted Break!!'"
The Voters of the "BeNighted State" of Massachussets Have Given the "Lesser Son of the Kennedys" a "Break" for DECADES!
I Fear our fellow "Voters" in my Beloved State are INCAPABLE OF RATIONAL EVALUATION of Sen. Kennedy!
We are TOTALLY Blinded by his Family History, & UTTERLY UNABLE to make a Rational "Voter's Decision" about "Ted's" Senate Behavior! "Teddy" STILL has the "CAMELOT" "CACHE'"
I speak with MANY who think that "Teddy" MIGHT "Champion" honestly "Good" Causes, but I think that our Senior Senator has become "disengaged,"--& Who's to Blame Him!
He could STILL "Do Some Good," but there are few of us left He might Listen to-----
