The best war that Bush could wage would be to stop squandering his considerable politcal capital and use the bully pulpit to take on the issue of ANWR and energy self-sufficiency. We need to exit the middle east, taking with us not only our oil dollars but all the foreign aid we continue to pour into nations such as Egypt and Saudia Arabia.
Let the Arabs kill each other. If the terrorism still persists, begin taking out cleric schools and mosques. But for heaven sakes, lets stop putting American lives at risk to defend oil we do not own.
