Could it have started when Abraham got permission from God to get intimate with his indigenous maid servant? Could the decendants of the maid servant have some desire to prove their worthiness presumably because their race alpha was a bastard? I'm just trying to understand something here, not getting personal.
I'm not sure. I've been trying to track down the beginning of all this hatred myself. Bastard or not, one would think that they would have merged with the Jews of the time. Religion wise. But, I suppose its possible that they went off on their own and created their own religion.
I know the decendants became Arabs/Muslims... but is this when the religion of Islam began? If so, why is it that it took 500 years for the prophet Mohammad..... also much of Islam is similar if not the same as with the Jews, particularly the food laws.
I haven't really been able to find a distinct difference between them. I'm sure there must be some, but are they minor or major?
Incidentally John the Baptiste was beheaded. What group did that? It seems that Herod had some Idumean bloodlines.
