Because it is giving the terrorists exactly what they wanted, and any publicity will undoubtably motivate them to find more such victims.

Of course, given the endless publicity this guy has received to date, everyone in America will know all the details in 24 hours. Events like this during war should be totally blacked out. They should have announced nothing when he was taken and and a story saying he died in a plane crash once they knew he was dead. Easier on the family too.

Yeah, and the real shocker is that our own government continues its open border madness and immigration "free for all" leaving the door open for even more of thsee freaks and fanatics to enter our own country. Boy, this must make everyone feel safe huh?

Why would anyone be shocked by this? It was just a few months ago that we all sat and watched TV while thousands of Americans were brutally murdered in a matter of minutes, at the World Trade Center.

And it was only a couple of months ago some of us freepers watched a video clip of a Russian soldier getting his head cut off with a knife, and then the head raised in triumph.

Personally I would rather get cold blooded about these events and not hot blooded. That way we can carry out this war on terrorism with better clarity, and effectiveness. - Tom
