The AC-130 has always been the best weapons platform in the sky.
One question for the laser propeller heads. Will the laser produce the red mist like the 25mm currently does or will it just heat them up like an ant under a magnifying glass??

Aluminium chaff seems like a good defense. Of course, it would be difficult to launch it in time.
A water vapor cover could be kept up over time, but would hinder the targets ability to aim as well.
