Terrorists camps in South Carolina? Haven't they heard of the NAACP Boycott? Surely the terrorists wouldn't break the boycott of a brother organization.

Here is a newstory from 12/01 worth noting and your South Carolina link to the story Click here

Below is a small part of a very interesting article:

Abdul-Haqq was one of the first Muslims to settle here in the early 1980s, leaving his childhood home in Brooklyn for a life without the distractions and vices of the modern world.

Since then, Islamberg has mushroomed. What started out with two families has grown to include more than 50, most of them African Americans. The community grew from an old hunting lodge and a few trailers to a landscape dotted by mobile homes, and the group is working to add 97 acres to the 67 it already owns.

Members of the group work in the surrounding area as lawyers, doctors and contractors. Some have businesses in New York City. Muslims of the Americas gets its money -- which it uses to buy land, make improvements to the settlement and build its new mosque -- from donations from the people who live there. They do not charge rent, Abdul-Haqq said.

Over the years, other settlements followed: In South Carolina, Pennsylvania, Virginia and elsewhere, all with the idea of escaping the pitfalls of modern life, Abdul-Haqq said.

And all peaceful, he said.

Investigations begin

Police in Colorado Springs, Colo., came to a different conclusion after they raided a rented storage locker in 1989....see article for the full story

LOL! Wait till Darrell Jackson and Senator Ford hear of this. They'll be boycotting the Muslims too!
