Spectacular correlation, thanks!

The murder of Jocelyn Stanley in Northside this week was disconcerting. I think the reason we're not in the top five nowadays is better policing, not Project Exile.

You guys got Jerry Oliver now? lol...He did manage to raise the bar on police hiring in Richmond. Younger, fitter, more educated and dedicated. I don't know much about his personal life. The political climate in Richmond is a joke. Watching City Council is like watching Romper Room full of 40 year olds. You'd be hard pressed to find bigger fools outside of a clown school.
Ward, maybe we could give them Councilman El'Amin, also. Of course, people in Michigan would hate us forever, but at least we'd be spared his racist grandstanding.
To: constitutiongirl
Oliver. That's it.
Well, I don't have him(I'm 80 miles from Detroit), but Detroit does.

Anybody want to bet that the most dangerous towns are all BLUE zone ?
To: Ward Smythe
"Richmond, VA can't be #14" That #14 rating is more the product of a statistical anomoly (i.e. the relatively small number of square miles the City of Richmond and its overflow of Public Housing encompasses as compared to the surrounding counties of Chesterfield, Henrico, and Hanover) than anything the Li'l Ukrops' BoyToy Mayor did or didn't do. The decrease in crime in Richmond has been a rather bright spot, IMHO.

"Not surprising though that so many Californian cities are safe." LOL...I'd heard handbag assault may be a growing problem on the Left Coast.

The correlation can be explained when you look at
The FBI Uniform Crime Reports and look at table 43 (Arrests by Race). Blacks account for 50% of the homicides and a little over 50% of robberies, while being about 12% of population.
To: SauronOfMordor
Also on the same table, comparing Black and Asian homicide rates, the per-capita Asian homicide rate is one tenth the Black rate -- even though Blacks and Asians are both mostly urban populations

No I didn't. It is impossible to keep up with the murders that occur in Kali's crime cities. In fact I don't try to keep up.
What is fairly clear is that the Goron voting big cities are riddled with murder, rape, assualt and other crimes. They have restrictive gun controls which have taken weapons from good people. They vote 99/99% for the worse of the worse of the DemonicRats like the addict/criminal Marion Berry. Their masters the white rulers of the demonicRat party don't want things to improve. They just want the votes to get re elected each election. They get those votes by using our tax $'s to keep things in a mess.

add to that, most (i can't back this up with a source) of the violent crime, robberies etc. are committed by men. given that a there is a majority of women to men in general and with black males in particular (b/c of incarceration and shorter expected life span), then you are looking at about %5 of the general population responsible from the crime stats that you quote. take away male children under 10 and men over 60 and the true percentage is probably closer to 2 to 3% of the overall population responsible for the crime stats you talk about. yipes!

To: Ward Smythe
I knew you were mocking it. I dread seeing this year's legislative agenda.
