Republicans tend to be law biding citizens, and they want their representatives to enforce laws on the books. Democrats are none of these.

Many average American members of the GOP are not happy about millions of illegals breaking into the USA, nor are they happy with their leadership when it is willing to look the other way as GOP leaders KISS BUTTS FOR VOTES of aliens given amnesty, and Americans of latin ancestry.

Is this how you run a party? We don't give in just because the country is filled with illegal aliens, and latins that would be offended if immigration laws are enforced.

If "winning over" the hispanic vote is contingent on rewarding crminality and taking my money at gunpoint to provide food stamps for immigrants, we've lost the whole ballgame.
Further, I won't vote Republican until such imbecilities cease. Neither will many others. Look at the polls... Americans do not support the craven surrender on immigration being contemplated by the Republicans.
