I do not believe that this nation will be a major player in the world much longer. The last sentence states it all, "The defense of the nation begins with the defense of its borders."

This nation no longer controls its own borders. We take orders from the UN to allow in whomever THEY deem we should. And our national boundaries are porous sleeves through which anyone or anything can slip.

This is why George Bush will be directly accountable if there are more terrorist attacks in this nation. So far, despite the horror of 9/11, Bush has chosen to put the country at risk by a.) Continuing the policy of not enforcing our laws against illegal immigration. b.) Incredibly continuing to allow Arabs/Muslims from countries that harbor terrorism to come in here c.) Not deporting Arabs/Muslims who are already here on visas. d.) Continuing the policy of not fully funding the INS so they can do their jobs more effectively and e.) Not using the military or National Guard to once and for all stop the ongoing Mexican invasion across our southern borders. With Bush, it's like 9/11 never happened. Instead he has opted for greater police powers that can be used against law abiding Americans someday. In the meantime our law enforcement is tasked with trying to find thousands of terrorists as they blend into all the other illegal aliens and 3rd world immigrants in this country.
