Well...cabbages yes...but my question is
this...if you are going away and you have an answering machine, wouldn't you...
check your messages every once in a blue moon? Surely you would...and how long have Chrissy and Julie been friends? Long enough for Julie to know ....
WHY AM I DOING THIS TO MYSELF?????
Maybe she is just in hiding with her mother and I have not heard anything else mentioned on TV about it, maybe the police know this too and are not saying anything more about it. I don't know.
What I do know is that I would NEVER be so STUPID as to go out with THAT MAN.

What I do know is that I would NEVER be so STUPID as to go out with THAT MAN.I just don't get it either. Here's a guy she said TOLD her that he killed Nicole and Ron, and she doesn't run and hide as far as she can from him? There's just no accounting for that. I figured she was doomed when I first heard of her problems with OJ a couple of years ago. But then it happens everyday and everywhere. Women for some reason think they're immune from batterers and that they'll be the exception.
But maybe that's what this woman did. Maybe she is in hiding. It's just too bad she didn't have a better solution for her poor kitty.

My view is Chrissie asked Julie to care for the cat. Julie calls and says she can't. Then OJ calls Julie and says the cops came to visit him and mentioned a cat.
Julie calls Chrissie's answering machine with the 2nd message, "Chrissy, this is Julie again. Gosh, I forgot that you were gone when I left that last message. I hope your cat is ok."

Yes, you're right. The poor cat. It still doesn't make any sense though...she obviously had made arrangements for someone to care for it, like she was going on vacation. We need to hear from her mother.

Uh, yeah. But don't you think it's a little
odd if your scenario is right that OJ wouldn't have said the cat was DEAD? Then why would she call and say, "I hope your cat is alright?" if she knew the cat was dead? Surely they told OJ the cat was dead. We know they did.
Ah well. The mystery will either solve itself or it won't. She's either a)dead or b)alive. And if she's alive, she should consider herself lucky.

""CHECK THE TORA BORA CAVES!!!""Ahem........does it have a golf course nearby??
Yes, it does. It's an interesting course; hazards include not only the usual bunkers and water, but shellfire, minefields, and occasional hypercaffienated U.S. Marines.
My advice is to let the Marines play through. Really.

What the cops told OJ and what the journalist knew possibly are two different things. Cops don't believe in sharing when they are questioning.

Sounds like it's almost time for another phony phone call to "ABC Evening News with Peter Jennings".
