Treasonous Turnout in Tampa: Part 2 – The Leader, the Teacher, and the Soldier

Hello FReepers,

Here is part 2 from Saturday’s anti-war protest in Tampa. This clip once again features the leader of Florida’s anti-war forces, Omali Yeshitela, spewing his anti-American communist filth. He even implies that the Bush government is directly responsible for 9/11.

Also featured: communist agitator and high school teacher Ian Harvey from Naples. And comments from the sole pro-American counter-protestor, a US Army vet. The FOX reporter referred to him as the lone anti-anti-war marcher.

This clip runs a little longer than usual, 20 minutes. But I feel it’s important for the world to hear the full scope of the hatred that these men feel for our country (not the Army vet of course).

Enjoy the videos,

Jorge Torres

Small rabble. Mostly "lost in the 60's" peaceniks and other various burnouts. The local news gave em about 30 seconds.

Shortage of facts may let judge slide

The club must give Circuit Judge Greg Holder a list of members living within 5 miles of a proposed project, and a count of their outdoor activities.

Ian Harvey teacher?

JEEZE this guy is a whining liberal

the links to the judge are theones on the float for re-elction

Criticizing the government or its policies is not treason.

This goes beyond criticism. Omali Yeshitela, more than once, calls on his followers to "intervene" in the affairs of this government. That, coupled with the fact that they despise our constitutional republic and would replace it with a communist system, sounds like treason to me. He also gives aid and comfort to the enemy by giving excuses for 9/11, and even tries to deflect the blame from the terrorists and put it squarely on the Bush government.

2. A betrayal of trust or confidence.

BUMP.....These idiots are attempting to incite criminal actions, IMHO. It's tragic that they can spew their venom in a wonderful country such as the USA.

My second comment concerns the sorry excuse for a human at the beginning of this video that kept putting his hideous mug in front of the camera then indicating his IQ before leaving.

I attended my first anti-anti war rally (or maybe I should say counter anti war rally) in Columbia Missouri last Saturday. Rather than being angry, I left feeling sorry for them. Dogrobber is a very intelligent and articulate spokesperson for "our side" and countered the emotional comments from the protesters with facts and logic. Even though they were not convinced that we were right, you could see confusion in their eyes. Interesting day, all in all.

Thanks for all you are doing.

Most of the noise is the wind blowing across the mic

I like your site, but the video quality really sucks. Also I can barely make out what people are saying in the latest movies.

Thanks for your suggestions. We are striving to improve the quality of the streams.

First, by popular demand we switched to Windows Media. Today's part 2 was encoded with the command line encoder which yields better results with its two-pass option.

As for the audio, I mentioned yesterday in part 1 that it was very windy and unfortunately I don't have a very effective windjammer (it's on my wish list).

I watched today's stream on my DSL connection, and I thought it looked and sounded pretty good.

I will keep trying to further improve the video/audio quality.

Isn't this 'Yeshitela' guy the same one who is the leader of the 'Democratic Uhuru's' or some such thing, that called for the assasination of the mayor and police chief of St. Petersburg during the last riot?

One more thing...

Keep in mind that I make these videos, for the most part, by myself. I run the camera, the audio, and the interviews. And sometimes, in less than ideal conditions, such as the windy, noisy park we were in on Saturday. And many times I have to deal with a hostile crowd that is doing its best to keep me from getting a good shot, as demonstrated by the bearded gentleman(?) at the beginning of part 2.

I hope one day I will have some sponsorship or funding, to be able to afford better equipment and a cameraman. Perhaps a small endowment from a conservative foundation. Anyone out there listening?

Whatever the case, though, I will continue to do this even if I have to go out there with a cassette recorder and a polaroid camera, because to me, this is a labor of love.

Yes. YeSHITela is behind the Uhurus. I had not heard of him or them before the St. Pete protest I covered on 10/6/01. Do you have a link perhaps, detailing the call for assasination? I would like to know more about that.

Bump - Great work. I just wish my internet connection was better.

Is there a way to download the Windows Media files, save them to disk, and view them later so the footage isn't interuppted by buffers?

St. Pete race baiters. They have done more to damage the morale of the police force here than any other group. They were the biggest cause of the riots here couple of years ago. The Saint Petersburg Times (Pravada West) loves em. I believe they are afro-centric Marxists and potential terrorists.
