Lord, hear our prayers for those who are sick or in pain, please provide healing and comfort. Many seek wisdom to make the right choices; guide them in the ways they should go. Help all of us to serve and glorify you. In Jesus' name, amen.

A small, late prayer request. I'm having surgery in the morning - have an over-active parathyroid gland that will be removed, plus a laparascopy to take care of an ovarian cyst. Yep, that will be two different surgeons. I thought I might as well get everything taken care of at once.

Heavenly Father, as You know, freesia2 is having surgery this morning. Please guide and direct her surgeons hands as they minister to her. Allow everything to go smoothly and let everything necessary be visualized quickly without undue trauma to her tissues and organs. Let her surgery in total be unremarkable and utterly routine, and allow her healing to be swift and complete. Surround her and her loved ones constantly with Your holy angels for comfort and protection, and give to each the saving knowledge of Your Son's wondrous gift. Thank You Father! Of Jesus, and in His name I ask these things for my sister freesia...Amen!
