So if Rubin agreed that it was not a good idea to intervene in the imminent Enron bankruptcy, how is Waxman making the charge that Bush SHOULD HAVE intervened?

I'm sure this "Bush should have cared about the employees" is Plan B for the Democrats, since Plan A, "Bush is guilty" didn't fly.

You are correct, as usual. Watch the RATS lower the rhetoric in a hurry on Enron. Their problem is, they have nothing to say on anything, because they are devoid of ideas except the old discredited promise-borrow-spend nonsense.

Lieberman should recuse himself from his committees investigation the same as Ashcroft if he wants to maintain public trust. I agree.
