Arafat: I'm willing to sacrifice 70 to die to kill one Israeli

Israel Radio West Bank correspondent Avi Yissakharov reported this evening that Yasser Arafat declared in a fiery speech in Ramallah today that "all Palestinians are Muhammad al-Dura", that all Palestinians are martyrs. 12-year-old Muhammad al-Dura was killed in the Gaza Strip last year while his father tried to protect him from crossfire. Arafat called for all to join in the struggle to stop what he termed the Israeli program to Judaize Jerusalem. The crowd roared back to Arafat "millions of martyrs are already marching to Jerusalem." Israel Television Channel Two reported this evening that Arafat also told the crowd that "I am willing to sacrifice 70 martyrs to kill one Israeli" and called for a continuation of the struggle against Israel.

There is really nothing more to be said, is there? Daily we see mouthpieces for Arafat's PA on cable and network news, trying to distort and spin the unfolding atrocities as "terrorism against the Palestinian People" and "proof Israel does not want peace." Then we hear the translation of what Arafat actually says to his own people. He hoists the bloody shirt, and proclaims Muhammad al-Dura a martyr, when his organization oversees "schools" where young boys that age are indoctrinated into rabid hate for the Jews, and trained to become human bombs. What is left to say but the Palestinian supporting pundits are liars and frauds of the worst kind. There will be no peace until a completely new Palestinian leadership, with a real intention of concluding peace, arises out of the population. As long as corrupt, tyrannical murderers like Arafat are in power, this will not happen. So much for the "peace process." It is so stupid and absurd that our press still insists on pretending its 1979, and Jimmy Carter is just about to bring Anwar Sadat and Menachem Begin together in a final peace accord. The Oslo Accords were never more than a wish, a dream. The PA has never lived up to even the least of the stipulations of that agreement, much less shown good will in negotiations. This is another conflict that seems to thrive on outright ignorance; ignorance of the truth... about the PLO and Arafat's true intentions on the part of World Opinion.

The settlements represent a poke in the eye and should not remain the major stumbling block to some measure of peace. Israel took it on the chin for a long time before they struck back and chewed up Egypt, Syria and Jordan. The Sinai went back to Egypt, the Golan Heights will go back to Syria...it is only the West Bank that is a hold up. Israel has no right to the territory and should exit. The United Nations did not give all of Jerusalem to Israel...that is why Tel-Aviv was the capitol. If Israel wants more land they should buy it with something besides blood. If the Palestinians want to go home from the camps they should do so by peacefully moving in and stop the bloodshed. Since the radicals in both camps want to fight it is about time we let them duke it out or shut up.

Among all his other deficits, Arafat seriously needs remedial math.

Do that enough times and the Palestinian problem will be solved.

a .50 cal? I'm thinking if that kid got hit by a .50, he would have been torn in half, literally.

One hit? With a hard bullet? I'm not sure. But the film sequence shows the holes in the bacground wall popping up, and they seem pretty big. And some of the text concerning the forensic analysis of the film said that the soundtrack suggested an old, scratchy .50 cal. At least, off the top of my head, that's how I remember it. I may be wrong. But I think the complete thing is somewhere on Alamo Girl's site, and probably in the archives here. And the Israelis were up the road, and the victims were concealed from their angle of fire by that big cement block.

So why doesn't the "Jew run" media translate this stuff for Americans in their "Propeganda efforts". Could it be that the media isn't run by "Jews", or that these are "self-hating" Jews in which case what good are they to the "Jewish worldwide conspiracy"?

When anything even remotely like bullets flying happens a normal parent will get on their kid like stink on a monkey.

Again: from the forensic analysis done on the film (available here on FR, I believe), the kid was shot from somewhere near the photographer. I think you'll also see that the father isn't looking in the direction of the Israeli post, he's looking in the direction of the photographer and the shooter. And afterwards, a press conference.

Do I have to remind you that we've seen these kids mothers state that they've gotten pregnant to have martyrs? You're not necessarily talking "normal parent" here.

With half the population of the jews, a 70 to 1 kill ratio would leave every palestinian dead(approx. 3 million), for only 4,250 dead jews. If I were an Isreali, I would take that as a bargain, if it would end the conflict. Dead palestinians are very peaceful I'm told.

And there is that new picture of the kid, in front of a raging fire, pointing a toy gun (supposedly at a tank). What kind of parent sends his kid out into the streets to face down tanks with a toy gun? It's a horrible tragedy waiting to happen, and in case they didn't notice, the PR benefits of having dead children evaporated after 9-11. It's time for them to make peace with Israel.

Arafat's biggest blunder...Waking up the dormant Spirit of King Dahveed! IAF and IDF confidence is growing...real time combat experience ..dittled out to many.
