Our 31-year-old son says his stomach feels "sour" and wants to eat better. His name is Jason, and we ask for your prayers from Silverwoman and I. God bless all of you for your prayers and God is really moving in our lives and in this great nation.

FREEPERS! It was only one year ago it truly seemed a ruling elite had chosen their man to run this country for them--Today...today!! On a secular country and western radio station--during rush hour!!--I'm hearing God Bless America on my radio.
Then I heard two short prayers...ending with Jesus Name!! Alleluia!

FREEPERS!! God is moving...GOD IS MOVING!! Prayers are being answered. Miracles abound, praise God.
Take LeeMcCoy's daughter, Sarah. Sarah was a goner; Sarah was all but dead. But God stepped in and performed a miracle--a miracle! That young lady now does housework and has accepted the Lord. Amazing story. God is moving and will restore her other daughter to the household shortly, making for another miracle.

He'll move for you and your folks, too. Keep praying, Freepers. And God richly bless and favor everyone :)

"Sarah was all but dead"

She was...in fact she was allergic to the first antibiotics they started her on. She had to fight the allergic reaction in addition to the infection and severe dehydration. Without the Lord's direct and immediate intervention, we would have lost her.

A very humble and quiet "Thank You, Father" for the completeness of Your mercies. Even though I sin time and time again against You, You do not turn Your face from me or my family. Thank You Father!

LeeMcCoy is modest and humble--THAT WAS A MIRACLE! Miracles occur from praying. Free Republic had a thread praying for candidate Bush, and God answered our prayers with the miracle of a God-fearing leader.
The point is that a mind-boggling number of people read this site, and by keeping this thread going, people not normally attracted to religion find God really alive and doing great things for average folks--not a God of rules and regulations. A God of love and hope.
Praying is making it happen, Freepers.

update on my surgery - all went very well; recovery progressing very well too - nurses are all amazed at how well I'm doing so soon

I know we are an opinionated bunch, (and many may not agree with me on many issues), but we combine the best of both worlds - a desire for a better country, and a love of God. Prayers do make a difference. I pray for each and every one of you, lurkers, our leaders and our country. I pray for our enemies that they may know God's mercy, and I pray for forgiveness of my sins. I thank God for my family, and for sending His Son to save us. In His Son's eternal name I pray. Amen.

Free Republic had a thread praying for candidate Bush, and God answered our prayers with the miracle of a God-fearing leader.

That thread is still ongoing ... only now it is for President Bush ..... today is Day 452. It consists of a new thread each day, without the linking that this one has to previous prayer requests or praise reports.

It is for prayers for the President and national concerns, so it is complementary to this thread which is more for personal needs ...... both are wonderful threads that acknowledge that all good and perfect things come from the Lord.
